The Citrus Short Course is a high-level programme aimed at those who already have a basic understanding of agricultural production practices and needs to expand their understanding of citrus production. The programme covers all aspects of citrus production, including the history of the industry, the roles of industry organisations, citrus production practices, and the citrus export value chain.

Submission of Workplace Skills Plan and Annual Training Report

It is that time of year again, and all employers in the citrus industry are encouraged to submit their workplace skills plans and take part in the mandatory grant system. In doing so, you are eligible to get back 20% of the Skills Development Levy you pay simply by submitting your workplace skills plans and annual training reports.

The Citrus Resource Warehouse

The Citrus Academy has launched a new website called The Citrus Resource Warehouse - an online storage space housing a variety of documents sourced either directly from the public domain, or stored with the permission of the original sources.

Funded by the CGA, the online warehouse covers topics relevant and pertaining to the Southern African citrus industry, and allows for all documents to be downloaded in pdf format.
