Citrus Academy Learning Material: Production – NQF Qualifications

Shortly after its establishment, the Citrus Academy engaged in the development of learning material, specifically around citrus production practices. All learning material, including assessment and alignment documentation, was made available electronically free of charge.

This learning material was aligned with core unit standards of the old Plant Production qualifications from NQF level 2 to 5, with each set containing a learner guide, assessment guides and assessor guide. It was used by accredited Skills Development Providers to implement learnerships and skills programmes based on these qualifications. It was also used as the basis for many of the Citrus Academy learning programmes.

Although the Plant Production qualifications are now deregistered, the material is still a valuable resource, with a wealth of information about citrus production practices from operator to management level.
