Phytosanitary Monitoring and Inspection Assessment for Citrus

The cost of first certification is R300 (excluding VAT) per person. Recertification is free of charge.
Estimated completion period: 2 weeks

The Monitoring and Inspection for Phytosanitary Markets (MIPM) for Citrus programme provides an opportunity for the training and certification of orchard and packhouse monitors and inspectors on farms and in packhouses that export to the EU and who must comply with the CRI’s FMS.

Please note that once a monitor / inspector has certified using this programme, there is no cost for recertification. Recertification is required when there are changes to the FMS. However, even if there have been no changes to the FMS, we recommend that monitors and inspectors recertify every two to three years, or as often as required by the workplace, to refresh their skills and knowledge.

The programme is delivered exclusively through the Citrus Academy e-learning platform.

Please visit the MIPM for Citrus E-Learning registration page to enrol.
