The Citrus Academy is a non-profit company that was established by the Citrus Growers’ Association of Southern Africa to enable human resource development in the Southern African citrus industry.

Online Payment – Resources
Delivery policy
Subject to availability and receipt of payment, resource orders will be processed within 7 days. Subject to the delivery mode specified on the order form, the use of Postnet and/or the South African Postal Service will determine the timeframe within which delivery of resources will take place. Once resources have been dispatched, notification will be emailed via the email address provided.
Export restriction (Optional)
The offering on this website is available to South African clients only.
Return and Refunds policy
The provision of resources by Citrus Academy is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Citrus Academy will refund the customer in full within 30 days.
Cancellation of orders
Faulty and/or damaged goods
Where the customer receives faulty and/or damaged goods, Citrus Academy will arrange to have the good/s returned, at no cost to the customer, and replaced.
Online Payment – Short courses
Delivery policy
Subject to receipt of payment, short course registrations will be processed within 24-48 hours. Course details will be emailed to the email address provided.
Return and Refunds policy
Citrus Academy will endeavor to provide all short courses as listed in the schedule, however, should a course be cancelled, notification will be emailed to the email address provided, and refund the customer in full within 30 days.
Cancellation of short course registration
Citrus Academy will refund the customer in full should they cancel their attendance prior to the commencement of the course. Failure to attend the course without notification to the Citrus Academy, will result in the course fee paid being forfeited.
Online Payment – E-learning
Delivery policy
Subject to receipt of payment, e-learning registrations will be processed within 24-48 hours. Links to access the Citrus Academy e-learning portal will be emailed to the email address provided.
Cancellation of e-learning course registration
Once the link to the e-learning portal has been emailed to the email address provided, cancellation of registrations is no longer possible, and refunds will not be provided.
Failure to submit assignments will result in your Certificate of Competence being withheld, and refunds will not be provided.
Payment Details
Payment options accepted
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, and Direct Bank Transfer.
Card acquiring and security
Card transactions will be acquired for Citrus Academy via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
Customer details separate from card details
Customer details will be stored by Citrus Academy separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.
Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
Responsibility
Citrus Academy takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.
Country of domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Citrus Academy chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.
Variation
Citrus Academy may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.

General
If there is any conflict between these terms and specific terms appearing elsewhere on citrusacademy.org.za then the latter shall prevail.
If any of these terms are determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by reason of the laws of any state or country in which these terms are intended to be effective, then to the extent and within the jurisdiction in which that term is illegal, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and the remaining terms shall survive, remain in full force and effect and continue to be binding and enforceable.
These terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of South Africa.
