Yes, a company can register more than one person, provided they all have individual email addresses.

Learners can register for e-learning courses at any time and progress at their own pace. The time available for completion is limited to ensure that the learners remain focussed, but learners can apply for an extension, if necessary.

  • You will receive a link via email to the online learning platform, Canvas, within 24 hours of purchasing the course.
  • The course content is available on the platform in electronic and downloadable pdf-formats.
  • You have to study the learning material and complete a number of online quizzes and /or assignments.
  • A course calendar is provided to guide you through the timelines for each module of the course.
  • Certification programmes, such as Phytosanitary Monitoring and Inspection, must be completed within three weeks.
  • Short courses must be completed within ten weeks.
  • You may complete the programme sooner if your schedule allows it.
  • You can request an extension of the deadline if necessary.
  • Quiz results are available immediately whereas assignments are marked by an assessor.
  • The assessor provides feedback in terms of areas for improvement.
  • You will be given another opportunity to improve the grades for the assessment activities you failed.
  • An appeal process is available should you dispute your final assessment result.
  • An encrypted, password-protected certificate will be emailed to you within one week of the assessor’s final declaration of competency.
  • For certification programmes, such as Phytosanitary Monitoring and Inspection, the certificate will be emailed within 48 hours of successful completion of all the quizzes.
  • Basic adult education and a working knowledge of computers are sufficient to be able to complete the e-learning programmes, with the exception of SETA accredited programmes which require a Grade 12 certificate.
  • You will need a reliable internet connection, access to a computer or smart device and a personal email address.
  • A learner support consultant is available to assist with any technical difficulties you might have.
  • The learner support consultant will refer you to a subject matter expert that will be able to answer your questions.
  • Short courses are currently only available in English, and certification courses in English and Afrikaans.
  • To sponsor the translation of any of our e-learning programmes into another language, please contact the General Manager via our Contact Us page.
  • You will continue to have access to Canvas for one month after completion of your course.
  • Your user profile and assessment results will then be archived but can be reinstated at any time should the need arise.
  • The downloadable learner guide remains your property should you wish to reference any of the material in future.
